ATTAIN  SYSTEMS became fully operational in 2001, is a Division of ATTAIN VENTURES LIMITED, a general purpose high-technology systems supply and services company that was incorporated in 1991.  ATTAIN SYSTEMS is founded by Mrs. Lizzy Charles-Akhabue who had for many years worked variously as the Director of Server Products and Head of Sales in leading full-service (hardware, software and communication) I.T. company, before joining and international Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software company as the overall head in the West African sub-region.

ATTAIN SYSTEMS is a professional Information Technology (I.T.) organisation, with specialty in Digital Document Repository/Managements Solutions, in addition to enterprise System Integration, provision of Computer Hardware, Software, Networking (Local and Wide Area Network), and allied products from world-acclaimed manufacturers in the I.T. industry.

Using best-of-breed products we offer systems and services for the Integration of heterogenous computing infrastructure; Network topology design and structured cabling; Customisation of standard application systems; Local and Wide Area Network systems configuration and installation; Imaging/Document Management Solutions including Digital Document Repository; Access Control Systems deployment, Computer Site Preparation, System Strategy Consulting; as well as generic and specific user/super-user Training on installed systems. 

 

 

Company Structure

Attain Systems is structured into three main divisions to address different aspects of our business i.e. Technical Operations, Marketing Operations as well as General Managerment/Administrative Operations.  Our employees are well trained, highly motivated and professional-minded people.   They are largely experienced Computer Systems professionals, as well as business development and administrative professionals. 

 

Our Office  

From our office at Suite 3b Dalian Plaza, 43 Oritshe Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, we are able to offer adequate and prompt services to our customers, who are mostly in Lagos, with a few in Abuja.  We have plans to open new offices in Abuja and Port Harcourt in the near future, as our client base in these cities increase.

·        ZINOX COMPUTERS:  World-class systems that run on the latest Intel processors.  They are among the very few systems in the world that are certified both by INTEL and MICROSOFT.  The systems range from lap-tops, desk-tops to server class computers, all equipped with rugged power supply systems to withstand the spurious nature of electricity supply in a developing country such as Nigeria. The uniqueness of these world-class Zinox systems is enhanced by the integral Naira-sign key on the international keyboard.  This key, enables users to write the Naira sign with ease in all correspondence.  Furthermore, all Zinox computer systems and UPS are backed by manufacturers warranty and after sales support, in addition to prompt delivery of orders, since the manufacturing plant is in Nigeria. 

 

·        DOCUMENT IMAGING SOLUTIONS

The Document Imaging Solution from DIS Inc. USA, provides simplicity and adaptability in electronic document imaging.  Leveraging the partnership with Adobe, DIS, has created an imaging software platform that is able to turn every document into the time-tested PDF file format.  The simplicity of DIS solution ensures that entry-level personnel can be in full production (running the scanning station, labeling documents and indexing files) within a short time.  The indexing and retrieval software is self-extracting, allowing easy index creation and maintenance. DIS solution/Adobe places high premium on security, such that organizations can put password security at document level which allows one to e-mail documents between people or locations without the fear of an unauthorized person viewing the document. Investment Protection is assured on this solution as the PDF format was designed by Adobe for the U.S. Department of Defence and PDF is the document format of choice for the U.S. government.  For this reason, software companies are committed to maintain backward compatibility to the PDF format.  A major endorsement of the PDF file format came in 2000 when the U.S. Federal Court System under its Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) project decided to adopt the PDF file format for archiving its legacy files.   as the reader (Acrobat) is a freeware, therefore all systems both within the intranet and extranet can download the reader FREE.  Furthermore, all software vendors are obliged to make their new systems backward compatible with PDF, ensuring investment protection.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND OTHER SERVICES

 

·      Customer Satisfaction is ensured through cultivating and maintaining a customer friendly disposition and tailoring our products and services to suit each customer's peculiar business requirements, as well as providing prompt response to service calls.

·      Training:    We offer specific super-user training, as well as other system user training courses on the operations of all systems supplied and installed by us.  We also offer generic System Administration and Trouble-shooting courses for first-line support personnel, in addition to programming courses to the right category of persons; designed to properly equip them adequately on using the systems installed by us.  At ATTAIN, we are reputed for the high-standard and quality training that we give to our customers/system users.

·      Maintenance Services:  Proper maintenance of computer systems and related equipment is the backbone of any computer company, particularly in an environment like Nigeria.  The difference in computer performance in Nigeria is in the company offering back-up support to it.   In this respect, we can count on the presence of COMPAQ and ZINOX in Nigeria.  Investments in COMPAQ and ZINOX systems are well-protected as the companies are committed to providing excellent warranty and repair/replacement services.

·      Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP)  This is performed on regular monthly or quarterly basis during which all systems units, modules, devices, etc. are checked and serviced as the case may be for continuous uninterrupted operations. 

·      Corrective Service Program  (CSP) -  CSP is performed on call-basis at any time there is a breakdown affecting the installations; either of a unit, a device or module, arising from any cause including but not limited to power failure, accident, improper operation, software crashes and hang-ups.  Support center will respond and carry out the service within stipulated times that range from two (6) hours to twenty-four (24) hours from receipt of fault calls.

·      Turnkey Project   -  We carry out turnkey projects in Digital Document Repository, Hardware Computer and Data Communications area, including consultancy, designing, configuring, sourcing, supplying, installation and commissioning of systems to clients requirements and after sales support and maintenance of such installations.

·      Facilities Management  -  We manage, at the instance of our customers, their computer installations when they  do not have adequate and sufficiently trained people to do the job. In this case, we usually second some of our specialist(s) to the customer's site to work with and train customers personnel on site, until they are able to take over the complete operations of the computer installations.

·      Site Preparation  -   We carry out computer site preparation for clients who are desirous of having a modular computer suite. This involves inspection of facilities; preparation of detailed drawings of the Computer Centre; approval of site plans and drawings before the work commences.  This service encompasses systems layout, electrical wiring and earthing; UPS capacity determination and installation; installation of air-conditioners, fire-fighting systems, raised floor, suspended ceilings, trunking,  power supply and access control security systems.
